Just because she’s into hooking up doesn’t mean she won’t come with her own particular kind of baggage or issues, which is why you should learn to spot this kind of thing before you hop into the sack with her.

Disinterest

Yeah, she was willing to get into bed with you and do the deed, but otherwise she seems completely disinterested in you. And while you’re not hooking up with the intent of finding a woman who’ll fall for you, it’d still be nice to have her pay some kind of attention to you. If you end up with a woman who’s completely disinterested in you other than what your dick can provide her with, you’re dealing with a woman who clearly has some attachment issues. In a lot of ways her closed-off behaviour can make you feel insignificant and used, which isn’t really what you want to feel after you’ve just gotten laid. It can be tough to spot this kind of woman, but if she basically won’t talk to you or flirt with you and just wants to get directly to sex, it’s pretty clear that she’s put up a mental wall and has no intention of taking it down.

Possessiveness

You might think that the ladies who are only looking to hook up will be less of a risk for this than the ladies who are looking for love, but that’s not always the case. For some people sex is a highly emotional act, which means that there’s a pretty good chance that they’ll develop some kind of feelings for their partner. This is where possessiveness comes in. You might think that just because you’ve shacked up with her a few times that you’re still just casual partners, but she might see it another way. If she gets upset if you spend time with anyone else or loses her shit when she realizes you’ve been hooking up with other women, it’s a sure sign that she feels possessive over you. Unless you’re looking to settle down with a jealous woman, it might be a good idea to break it off with her for good.

Poor Self-Esteem

A lot of women with confidence issues use hookups as a way to make themselves more desirable, which is all good and fine. However, sometimes their poor self-esteem can manifest itself in ways that are not all that sexy.
